Along with its dual back camera configuration, the Lava Storm 5G boasts a large 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging capability, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and face unlock.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Lava Storm 5G is specced at Android 13; however, Lava promises to upgrade the device to Android 14 and provide two years of security updates. With a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.78-inch full-HD+ IPS 2.5D display, the phone features a punch-out central hole that houses the selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and 8GB of RAM, with virtual RAM functionality allowing expansion up to 16GB.
The Lava Storm 5G's camera configuration consists of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50MP dual rear camera unit with an LED flash.
The device has a 16-megapixel front camera with a screen flash for taking selfies and making video calls. It has 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded to 1TB with a microSD card.
The Lava Storm 5G has 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPRS, OTG, a 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, and a USB Type-C connector as connectivity options.
The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the side and allows face unlocking for security. A magnetometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor are among the other sensors it has.
The gadget has a strong 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly—33 W. According to Lava, a single charge of the battery can last up to 25 hours for talk time and 300 hours for standby time. The phone is 168.7x76.7x8.96 mm in size and 214 grams in weight.
Launch of Lava Storm 5G: Cost and accessibility
When the smartphone goes on sale on December 28, buyers will have a choice between Thunder Black and Gale Green as far as color goes. Both the Amazon platform and Lava's e-store will provide access to the smartphone.
The smartphone will go on sale the following week and be obtainable on Amazon.com.
The only Lava Storm 5G option with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 13,499 in India. However, Lava is selling the phone for a discounted Rs. 11,999 as part of a special introductory deal.
